20 hour water cut for many areas of the Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Several areas in the Western Province will experience a 20-hour water cut.

The water supply will be disrupted from 10:00 am on Tuesday (13) until 06:00 am on Wednesday (14), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

The water cut will be imposed in Gorakapitiya, Siddamulla, Arawwala, Rathmaldeniya, areas along the Maharagama- Piliyandala Road, Edirisinghe Mawatha, Moraketiya Road, Madawala Road, Bokundara Road, and all interconnected roads of these areas. 

The water cut is being imposed due to urgent maintenance work, the NWSDB said.
