Several SLPP MPs appointed to Sectoral Oversight Committees in Parliament

COLOMBO(News 1st): Several SLPP MPs were appointed to Sectoral Oversight Committees in Parliament on Tuesday (6).

The Speaker of Parliament announced that Former Minister Johnston Fernando was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security.

Madhura Withanage was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on International Relations.

Sarath Weerasekera was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Alleviating the Impact of the Economic Crisis.

Kokila Gunawardene was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Religious Affairs and  Co-Existence

Thissa Kuttiarachchi was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Media, Youth, Heritage, and Modern Citizen.

In addition, MP Jayantha Ketagoda was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Environment, Natural Resources & Sustainable Development.

Muditha Prishanthi was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Health.

Gamini Lokuge was appointed to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Foreign Employment & Labour.
