COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka won GOLD in the 4×400 Mixed Relay at the 20th Asian U20 Athletics Championships.

Sri Lanka's Tharushi Dilsara Karunaratne won GOLD in the women's 800m sprint at the 20th Asian U20 Athletics Championships.

She clocked a timig of 2:05:634 and Nurmamet Akbayan from Kazakhstan came in second followed by Qin YingYing from China in third. 

Sri Lanka's Malith Yasiru won BRONZE in the men's Triple Jump at the 20th Asian U20 Athletics Championships.

Miyao Manato from Japan from Gold, while Ma Yinglong from China from Silver in the event.
