Dengue spread to reach alarming levels in Gampaha

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Gampaha District Secretariat warned that the spread of dengue in the Gampaha District could reach alarming levels in the next few months.
According to the data released by the National Dengue Control Unit, the highest number of dengue cases are reported from the Gampaha district, which is 22% of the total number of dengue cases.
Currently, the number of dengue patients reported in the country stands at 36,911.
