COLOMBO (News 1st); Janaka Ratnayake, the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said that he always stood by the people, and believes that true public representatives will stand by him in Parliament on Wednesday (23).
A resolution against Janaka Ratnayake, the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka, will be taken up in Parliament on Wednesday (24).
Opposition political parties have made it clear that they would oppose the move, however, the SLPP General Secretary said that the SLPP supports it.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday (23), the Chairman of the PUCSL said that all the members of parliament irrespective of their belief or the parties, and the political agenda should unite to defeat "this illegal, unethical motion" in the parliament for the benefit of the common people.
