Sri Lankan President to visit Japan for official talks, and Future of Asia Summit

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe, will undertake an official visit Japan from 24th to 27th May, 2023.

During his stay, Mr. Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, is scheduled to meet with President Wickremesinghe to exchange views on, bilateral relations between Japan and Sri Lanka, and regional and international affairs. 

Furthermore, President Wickremesinghe is scheduled to attend the Nikkei Forum 28th Future of Asia.

It is expected that President Wickremesinghe's visit to Japan will further deepen the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
