Paper marking of 11 A/L subjects to commence today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Examinations says that the paper marking process of 11 other subjects of the 2022 GCE Advanced Level Examination will commence today (20). 

Examinations Commissioner General Amit Jayasundara says that paper marking activities will get underway at 32 centers.

According to Jayasundara, the paper marking of five subjects has been completed so far, adding that the evaluation of Science subjects is YET to be commenced. 

The paper marking of the 2022 GCE A/L answer sheets was delayed for over two and a half months due to the trade union action by university teachers and the decision by teachers to refrain from paper marking.
