One-Day strike at Inland Revenue Department

COLOMBO (News 1st); Officials at the Inland Revenue Department have decided to go on a one-day strike on Wednesday (17).

H A L Udayasiri, Secretary of the Inland Revenue Service Union, said personnel from the IRD Head Office and 16 branches will join the strike action.

He said that it was decided to go on strike demanding solutions to the shortage of staff, shortage of resources, and other related matters.
