COLOMBO (News 1st); A group of wildlife photographers and naturalists were caught behaving in an "unethical" and "dangerous" manner during a visit to Yala National Park on the 06th of May.
The incident, which was filmed by another group of local tourists, shows them far away from their vehicles as they apparently tried to shoot photos of a mating pair of leopards.
The group, which included naturalists and wildlife photographers, were seen climbing rocks with their expensive cameras and equipment, before descending on the other side where the mating pair of Leopards could be heard.
Their behavior has been widely criticized, with many calling for them to be penalized and banned from the park. Wildlife enthusiasts are supposed to protect the natural environment, but the actions of this group have been deemed "disgusting" by many.
Fortunately, the incident was swiftly dealt with thanks to the prompt action of the wildlife trackers who apprehended the culprits.
