One person succumbs after being shot in Midigama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A person who sustained injuries in a shooting in Midigama, Matara succumbed during the early hours of Thursday (30) morning.

Police said a group of people who arrived in a car had shot the man on Wednesday (29) evening and fled the scene.

The man was shot while standing on the road.

Further investigations are underway regarding the incident.
