Harak Kata's weapons mule Army Sanath, arrested

COLOMBO (News1st); Sri Lankan authorities arrested a drug trafficker who goes by the name 'Army Sanath' in Ahangama. Police said that he is wanted for a series of crimes in the country.

Wanted criminal Army Sanath was arrested for the possession of 15g of heroin following a special raid carried out by the Police Special Task Force.

The STF said that Army Sanath was operating the criminal and drug network of notorious underworld gangster Harak Kata, who is currently in custody of Sri Lankan authorities.

According to investigations, Army Sanath at the behest of Harak Kata had delivered the weapons used to carry out shooting in the recent past in Sri Lanka.

In addition, Army Sanath at the behest of Harak Kata had also wiped clean the said weapons after the crime was committed and handed them over to various other individuals.
