Already over 4100 dengue cases reported in Sri Lanka in 2023

Colombo (News 1st) - The National Dengue Control Unit says that 4178 Dengue patients were reported within the first two weeks of the year. 

The most number of patients were reported from the Colombo District and the number of patients were 871. 

The number of patients reported from the Gampaha District was at 846 as well.

The number of dengue patients reported from the Kalutara district was at 224 while 190 patients were reported from Kandy as well for this year so far. 

533 dengue patients were reported from the Puttalam District as well. 

The National Dengue Control Unit reported that 255 patients had been identified in the the Jaffna district as well within the first two weeks of this month.
