Businessman Schaffter hospitalized following suspected assault

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  Well known Colombo-based businessman Dinesh Schaffter was hospitalized on Thursday (15) evening following a suspected assault.

The Schaffter family issuing a statement said that Dinesh Schaffter was found grievously injured at a location in Borella.

The statement said that he was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is being treated in the ICU.

A police investigation is underway.
