COLOMBO (News 1st) – Sri Lanka's State Ministry of Higher Education says the cut-off marks for university entrance based on the results of the recent A/L examination will be released today (2).
The Ministry further said that it has planned to enrol 44,000 students in the universities this year based on the cut-off marks.
Over 85,000 students applied for admission to state universities this year.
The selected students are scheduled to start their academic activities in each university in January 2023.
