15-hour water cut for Colombo on Friday (2)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said the water supply will be interrupted for 15 hours tomorrow (2) to several areas in the Colombo district.

The water cut will be in effect from 10.00 PM on Friday (2) to 1.00 PM on Saturday (3) in Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.

NWSDB urged the people to gather the necessary water in advance to avoid inconveniences.

Further, NWSDB said that the water supply will be interrupted due to the laying of new transmission pipes related to the Ambatale Energy Improvement Project.
