Pension for fishermen, soon

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Fisheries says that steps have been taken to introduce a pension scheme for the fishing community.

The Director General of the Fisheries Department Susantha Kahawatta pointed out that the pension system will be implemented through the Agricultural & Agrarian Insurance Board.
