Rains to cease over most of Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Meteorology says that mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island.

Condition of Rain:

A few showers are likely in sea areas off the coast extending from Galle to Matara.

Winds:

Winds will be north-westerly or south-westerly and speed will be (20-40) kmph. 

State of Sea:

The sea areas off the coast extending from Kankasanturai to Trincomalee via Mullaitivu and from Colombo to Hambantota via Galle and Matara will be fairly rough at times.
