'Manna Khanna' shot in Grandpass

Colombo (News 1st) - Notorious underworld gangster Marimuththu Ganeshan who goes by the alias 'Manna Khanna' was injured in a shooting in Nawagampura, Grandpass on Saturday morning (Nov. 19).

According to Police, the shooting was carried out along a bi-road at the Nawagampura Housing Complex.

The 47-year-old victim was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, noted Police. 

Police mentioned that 'Manna Khanna', is a suspect involved in the attack on the father of underworld gang leader 'Kanjipani Imran', adding that he was released recently after being detained in remand custody.
