Court orders to expedite probe against Diana

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court ordered the OIC of the Criminal Investigations Department to immediately investigate whether State Minister Diana Gamage is remaining in Sri Lanka without a valid visa, and submit a progress report to the court on the 15th of December.

The order was made when a case filed challenging the citizenship of Diana Gamage was taken up in court on Thursday (10).

Attorney Gunaratna Wanninayake told reporters outside the court that attempts were made earlier to undermine this investigation.
