Sathosa reduces prices of six essentials

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Lanka Sathosa has reduced prices of six essential items in view of rising poverty levels that have befallen the people. 

The price reductions are as follows;

1.) Garlic 1Kg by Rs.60 (Rs.490/-)
2.) White Flour 1Kg by Rs.55 (Rs.320/-)
3.) Sprats 1Kg by Rs.50 (Rs.1450/-)
4.) Lentils 1Kg by Rs.30 (Rs.285/-)
5.) White Sugar 1Kg by Rs.15 (Rs.260/-)
6.) White Kekulu Rice 1Kg by Rs.5 (Rs.169/-)

Consumers will be able to obtain the relevant items at the prices mentioned from Sathosa outlets islandwise at the stipulated prices, from Wednesday (19).
