Education Minister meets with Russian Deputy PM

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Minister of Education, Susil Premjayanth has met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Alexander Novak.

He met with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister during an official visit to Russia.

The two dignitaries discussed obtaining fuel for Sri Lanka at length during the meeting, in addition to the welfare of Sri Lankan students who went to Russia for higher education.

The Minister thanked Russia for its support provided to Sri Lanka during the COVID-19 period.
