NBRO extends landslide warnings

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has extended the landslide warning issued to several places.

Accordingly, level 3 (Red) notices have been issued to Walallawita, Ingiriya, Palindanuwara and Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat Division(s) (DSD) of the Kalutara District, the Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariat of the Nuwara Eliya District, and the Kalawana and Eheliyagoda Divisional Secretariat Divisions and its surrounding areas.

Level 2 (Amber) warnings have been issued to Dodangoda, Horana, Bandaragama, Millaniya, Mathugama and Agalawatta Divisional Secretariats of Kalutara, Ruwanwella, Warakapola and Dehiowita Divisional Secretariats of the Kegalle District, and the Kuruwita, Ayagama, Nivithigala, Elapatha, Ratnapura, Kiriella and Pelmadulla Divisional Secretariats of the Ratnapura District.
