Former Norwegian Peace Negotiator Erik Solheim meets Mahinda Rajapaksa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim called on Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Colombo on Wednesday (12).

The Former President had extended Norwegian businessman to invest in Sri Lanka during this meeting.

Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim had assured Norway's support to Sri Lanka during these trying times.

Former Norwegian government minister Erik Solheim has been appointed as a International Climate Adviser together to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, along with Former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed.

He called on President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday (12) and tweeted that the President has a great vision for green economic revocery and for Sri Lankan climate leadership.

He was the Former Norwegian peace negotiator between the Sri Lankan Government and the LTTE during the height of the war.
