Search underway to locate missing Norochcholai worker after accident at sea

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police have commenced search and rescue operation to find a person who went missing after falling into the sea while doing maintenance work on a jetty of the Lakwijaya Power Plant in Norochcholai.

Police said that a joint operation together with officers of Kalpitiya Navy Camp was underway.

The missing person, aged 32, is a resident of the Pallama area.
