Sri Lanka facing a shortage of 120 essential drugs

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health says that there is a shortage of 120 medicines in the country.
The Director of Medical Technology Services and Chief Coordinator of COVID-19 at the Ministry of Health Dr. Anwar Hamdani said that the shortage of 14 life-saving medicines has been addressed.
An inquiry was made by News 1st to Dr. Anwar Hamdani regarding the shortage of contact lenses and hearing aids these days, and he said that measures are being taken to overcome the shortage of such equipment including surgical equipment.
