SLFP decides to amend party constitution to penalize violators

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party has agreed on amending its party constitution in a way that empowers the central committee and the party leadership in expelling party members who act in a manner detrimental to the policies and rules of the party. 

The Party Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that this decision was reached during a discussion held at the party headquarters on Thursday (1) evening.
