All Schools in Sri Lanka to Observe Mosquito Control Day Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): As part of the nationwide "Clean Sri Lanka" programme, tomorrow has been declared as a National Mosquito Control Day in all schools across the country.

School Education Director at the Ministry of Education, S.H.H. Sanjeewani, stated that all schools, pirivenas, and teacher training colleges will carry out cleaning and mosquito control activities from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM tomorrow.

This special initiative aims to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds and raise awareness on the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases among students and staff.
