24 companies express interest for Petrol Business

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Power & Energy, Kanchana Wijesekara says that 24 companies have submitted proposals for Expression of Interest (EOIs) to engage in the Petroleum Business in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, companies from UAE, Saudi Arabia, USA, China, India, Russia, UK, Malaysia, Norway & Philippines have submitted proposals.

Accordingly, he said that the committee appointed by the Ministry of Power and Energy will evaluate proposals, issue requests for proposal and will finalize the process in 6 weeks.
