COLOMBO (News 1st); Convener of the Inter University Students' Federation Wasantha Mudalige, Hashantha Gunathilake, and Ven. Galwewa Siridhamma Thero, who are held under the Prevention of Terrorism Act for 90-days were moved to the Tangalle Central Detention Center.

Police Spokesperson Att.-at-Law SSP Nihal Thalduwa said the Criminal Investigation Department and the Terrorism Investigation Division are conducting investigations on an possible link to an Anti-government Conspiracy.

Minister of Defence, President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Monday (22) approved to detain and interrogate Wasantha Mudalige, Hashantha Gunathilake, and Ven. Galwewa Siridhamma Thero for a period of 90-days under the PTA.
