Assault on Deshabandu: Eight suspects plead guilty, and released on bail

COLOMBO (News 1st); Eight people who were brought to court in connection with the attack on Senior DIG Deshbandu Tennakoon were granted bail on Monday (22).

Bail was granted after they pleaded guilty to the charges against them in court.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered that they be released on two personal bails amounting to Rs. 500,000/- each, per suspect.
