Health sector assures it is prepared for monkeypox testing

COLOMBO (News 1st); The health sector of Sri Lanka remains ready for monkeypox testing, says Deputy Director of Health Services, Dr. Anwar Hamdani.
Dr. Hamdani stated that the World Health Organization has donated a stock of medical equipment to test monkeypox.
He added that measures have already been taken to refer the relevant equipment to the Medical Research Institute and the Kandy Hospital.
