Dengue on the rise

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Association of Public Health Inspectors says that dengue cases in 5 provinces have increased rapidly.

The Chairman of the Association of Public Health Inspectors Upul Rohana said that due to the heavy rain in the past days' dengue cases have increased rapidly.

He also said that legal action will be taken against public and private institutions that do not follow the instructions for mosquito control.
