Stalin remanded till 12th August

COLOMBO (News 1st): Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today (04) ordered the further remanding of Joseph Stalin, the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers' Union, until 12th August.

The Magistrate also ordered that Venerable Koswatte Mahanama Thero be remanded until tomorrow (05).

Both suspects were arrested by the Fort police on 28th July over several charges including holding of demonstrations in violation of a Court order.
