COLOMBO (News 1st): The Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage issued an overseas travel ban on the suspects that were involved in blocking the entrances to the Lotus road, the Finance Ministry, and the President's office in Colombo by organizing an unlawful assembly and causing inconveniences to the general public.
Accordingly, the travel ban was imposed on;
Wasantha Mudalige
Joseph Stalin
Lahiru Weerasekara
Ranga Lakmal Devapriya
Eranga Gunasekara
Rev. Fr. Amila Jeewantha Peiris
The travel ban was issued after the Fort Police informed the court today that it received intel about the suspects attempting to flee the country.
Accordingly, the magistrate, who banned the suspects from traveling abroad, ordered the relevant order to be communicated to the Immigration and Emigration Controller and the airport.
