Five COVID deaths for Monday (25), over 100 cases today (26)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Five COVID-19 deaths were reported yesterday (25), says the Government Informaion Department.

In a statement, the Government Information Department stated that five people over the age of 60 have passed away due to the virus.

Moreover, 119 COVID-19 cases were reported today (26), the Government Information Department added.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases reported from Sri Lanka to 665,094.

Health authorities have urged the public to wear face masks as much as possible and to abide by health guidelines.
