COLOMBO (News 1st): A 34-year-old was brutally murdered close to the Orugodawatte Fly-Over on Monday (25) night.

Sri Lanka Police said that two masked men had arrived in a luxury car, and brutally attacked the victim with sharp weapons.

The man was ruled dead upon admission to Hospital, and it was reported that he was a resident of Meethotamulla.

Sri Lanka Police said that investigations revealed that the deceased was connected to drug trafficking, and had two pending criminal cases filed against him

Investigations are underway to locate and arrest the killers.
