One Year On: The Late Great Rajamahendran remembered

Today marks one year since the passing of the Former Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group, the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran.

Many multi-religious events were held yesterday and today in remembrance of the Former Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group.

An Alms Giving for the Maha Sangha took place at the City Office of the Sirasa Media Network located at Braybrooke Place, Colombo.

The Maha Sangha from the Hunupitiya Gangarama Temple in Colombo made their way to the Alms Giving.

The Maha Sangha praised the services carried out by the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran for society, culture, and religion.

“He is a person who had a deep connection with the grassroots of this country. Although he did not come forward for fame, he did his duty for the country, community, and religion. We invoke blessings on such a noble gentleman,” said Ven. (Dr.) Kirinde Assaji Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple.

Holy Mass was organized in Memory of the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran at All Saints Church, Colombo 8.

The service was presided over by the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith

Muslim Religious activities in memory of the late Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group took place at the Al-Taqwa Mosque in Kirulapona.

Hindu religious events in Memory of the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran were held at the Naguleshwar Kovil, in Keerimalai, Jaffna, and at the Sri Sitti Vinayagar Kovil in Agarapathana, Nuwara Eliya.

A Dhamma Sermon also took place at the Stein Studios in RATMALANA on Sunday in remembrance of the Former Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group, the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran.

An Alms Giving took place this morning at the Stein Studio premises.

A Dhamma Sermon was organized at the Depanama Studios of the Sirasa Media Network on Sunday to invoke blessings on the Former Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group, the late Mr. R. Rajamahendran.

An Alms Giving took place at the Depanama Station this morning.

An Alms Giving also took place at ICL Brands Pvt Ltd a member of The Capital Maharaja Group.
