COLOMBO (News 1st); An underworld criminal identified as Kimbula-Ele Pradeep was shot in New Chetty Street, Colombo on Tuesday (12) afternoon.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Talduwa said that an unidentified man had opened fire at the gangster, and he was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

A spokesman for the National Hospital said he was shot in the abdomen.
