13 people arrested for attacking filling station in Wellawaya

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested 13 people for unruly conduct at a filling station in Wellawaya on Tuesday (5) night.

Authorities said that a group had attacked the filling station with stones and bottles after they were informed that the fuel stocks were over.

Sri Lanka Police said that one police officer was injured and 20 motorcycles were also seized.
