1,000 MT of Chinese Rice reach Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); 44 containers of 1,000 MT rice donated by the Chinese people to Sri Lankan students arrived today.

The shipment was handed over to the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (28).

China gifted a total of 10,000 MT of rice to 7,900 schools across the country and supports its School Meal Program for a period of 6 months.
