Seven wanted protestors surrender to police

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police said that seven suspects who were wanted for illegal assembly opposite the Police Headquarters in Colombo on the 9th of June 2022, had surrendered to the Maradana Police via counsel.
Police said that Lahiru Weerasekera, Rathindu Senaratne alias Ratta, Jagath Manuwarna, Dhammika Munasinghe, Venerable Rathkarawwe Jinarathana Thero, Eranga Gunasekera, and Jehan Appuhamy had surrendered.
However, Wasantha Mudalige and Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero had NOT surrendered to Police.
