COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said that at present 165 MW of electricity is being added to the National Grid from the Sapugaskanda Thermal Power Plant.
The Deputy General Manager of the CEB Andrew Navamuni said the Power Plant had received diesel and naphtha.
He further noted that the Sapugaskanda Thermal Power Plant was added to service as one section of the Norochcholai Power Plant was taken off for repairs.
He added that the Norochcholai Power Plant is currently producing 600 MW of electricity.
