SJB plans to launch protests from next week

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Samagi Jana Balawegaya states that a massive series of protests will be launched from next week against the President, Prime Minister and the Government's agenda which continues to oppress the people.

The SJB Senior Vice President, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne stated that discussions have already been initiated with parties within the Parliament and the groups involved in the people's struggle to form an all party Government as soon as possible.

MP Senaratne also stated that the Leader of the Opposition is scheduled to make a special statement tomorrow (20) regarding the future plans of the Opposition in view of the current situation in the country.
