Private sector should also Work From Home : Labour Ministry

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Labor states that in the face of the current fuel crisis, the private sector has been requested to adopt a method of working from home.

Secretary to the Ministry, A.J. Wimalaweera stated that decisions taken regarding the public sector, usually do not affect the private sector at all.

However, in view of the current crisis in the country, the Secretary to the Ministry said that he requested the private sector to provide the necessary assistance to the Government until the current situation is resolved.

The Secretary added that the Government requested the private sector to adopt an appropriate program that will not hinder the conduct of corporate affairs.
