Motorcycle murderers Are Back : One person shot dead in Wattala

COLOMBO (News 1st); One person was shot dead in Elakanda, Wattala on Tuesday (14), said Sri Lanka Police.

Authorities said the a gunman in a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim.

Sri Lanka Police said that the deceased was identified as 25-year-old Nipun Perera from Aliwatte, Mattakkuliya.

It was revealed that the deceased had visited a Gym in Elakanda, Wattala and was gunned down while leaving the premises.

It it reported that he was involved in drug peddling, and was the son of one identified as Aliwatte Builder Nishantha.

Two three-wheelers and one car was also damaged in the shooting.
