6 batches of Rice scheduled to arrive in SL under Chinese grant

COLOMBO (News 1st); A total of 6 batches of rice have been scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka, under the Chinese 500 million RMB grant to Sri Lanka.
The Chinese Embassy stated that the first and the second batch to arrive at the Colombo Port on 25th and 30th June.
Under this program, 10,000 MT rice for needy kids will be distributed under the "School Meal Program" across Sri Lanka.
