COLOMBO (News 1st); Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today (8) granted bail to the son of MP Dilip Wedaarachchi and his wife who were remanded yesterday (7) after being arrested in connection with disrupting the duties of Police officers on the expressway.

They were charged with obstruction of duty by police officers and criminal coercion.

The suspects surrendered to the Weeraketiya Police on 6th June and were arrested, Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.
