COLOMBO (News 1st); Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka Hannah Singer-Hamdy held discussions on Monday (6) to finalize the United Nations (UN) Global Humanitarian Appeals Plan for Sri Lanka.
The UN has focused on raising nearly $48 Million over four months to provide adequate food and medicine to Sri Lanka.
Further, the UN is providing $34.5 Million for Agriculture and Health Security, also $8 Million for women and children's health care, and $4.8 Million for child protection, including meals.
