Army emerge overall champions at National Canoeing & Kayaking Competition

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Army participants clinched the overall championship at National Canoeing & Kayaking Competition - 2022 organized by the Sri Lanka Canoeing & Kayaking National Association, that took place at the Diyawanna waters from 3rd to 5th June 2022.

Sri Lanka Army players (male) won 10 Gold medals, 8 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals in the tournament to claim the Championship. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Army women players grabbing 8 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze medal won the Championship in the national tournament.

In the recent past years, Army players have won this tournament continuously having achieved championship in all events.
