$100 Mn to import essential goods

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Trade said that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has agreed to provide $100 Million for the importation of essential commodities.

However, the Minister said that the prices of essential commodities will rise following the imposition of taxes.
